THE LONG JOHNS

Join us for all the fun, & support local arts at the third of our Samford Live music series- and mark every 4th Saturday of the month in the calendar!

Our volunteer group of professional musicians have been behind this project for a year now, and we hope to establish a long term feature of regular live music to our beautiful valley, in a relaxed setting amongst the treetops on the deck beside Samford Creek.

The Long Johns – Alt country & old time swing.

The Long Johns are the twang of the banjo, the rumble of the sousaphone and the ring of the spittoon, the creak of the door, the crow of the rooster, the stomping of floorboards and the hammering of the chain gang.

A four piece possé, The Long Johns come together to play spooky country with that old timey swing, peppered with the spiciest of flavours to deliver songs of hope, loss and hauntings.
